The Parts Used tab is used only for Flat Rate work, and only in certain circumstances. This tab will not be visible if Flat Rate is disabled.
If parts have been listed on the Repair Estimate or Work Detail tab, the technician should not enter the parts on the Parts Used tab, also. Doing so would create a duplicate record in the journal and inventory in FieldOPS when the FieldDesk work order is submitted.
Similarly, if your company’s flat rate repairs are set up in FieldOPS to automatically remove parts from inventory, the Parts Used tab would be redundant, and cause errors in record keeping.
